The "Cicha Dolina" (Quiet Valley) nature reserve is one of four reserves located in the "Opawskie Mountains" Landscape Park and the "Opawskie Mountains" Natura 2000 area. It is situated about 0.5 km south of the built-up areas of the village of Pokrzywna, near the state border with the Czech Republic, on the slopes of Biskupia Kopa and Góra Zamkowa. It is the highest located reserve in the Opole Voivodeship. It is characterized by a great diversity of terrain relief and an interesting geological structure.
The goal of nature protection in the reserve is to preserve a fragment of a mixed mountain forest with a diversified age and species structure, as well as a well-developed beech tree stand. The largest area of the reserve is occupied by a well-preserved acidophilous mountain beech forest, in the tree stand of which beech dominates, and sessile oak and spruce occur in admixture. The most interesting representatives of fauna found in the reserve include such species as: the fire salamander, white-throated dipper, grey wagtail, and edible dormouse.
The natural educational trail "Through the Valley of the Bystry Stream to Biskupia Kopa" runs along the western border of the reserve. Along the eastern border run tourist trails: yellow and - on a short section - red.
