Bastion No. 2 "Regulicki" in Nysa is an integral part of the Nysa fortress complex. The facility is an example of the so-called Neo-Prussian school and the mastery of 18th and 19th-century fortification art. The construction of the facility began in the 1860s, and the expansion to its current form – as a standard shelter for infantry and artillery – took place in the next decade. In this role, the fort served until the early 1930s. In 1934, the facility was arranged as a warehouse for military equipment, and after World War II – it served, among other things, as an ammunition depot. It is currently in private hands, and reconstructions of the battle for the Nysa Fortress take place on its premises every year. Practical information: The facility is generally accessible. Paid parking at Kopernika Square.
