The paleontological site in Faustianka near Rudniki is a place that attracts not only geology enthusiasts but also scientists from all over Europe. One can see there fossils from 170-180 million years ago, in the form of dark grey clays containing spherosiderites, which are fragments of hard rocks made of siderite. Within them occur very numerously ammonites with a diameter of several dozen centimeters, belemnites, and shells of bivalves and snails of various shapes and colors – their maximum size is 5 centimeters.
