The Memorial Chamber in Maciejów is located in a manor house from the end of the 19th century, which was the last place of residence of Reverend Jan Dzierżon. The reformer of modern beekeeping stayed in the house for over two decades, until his death in 1906. In Maciejów, visitors can tour the memorial chamber dedicated to the clergyman. In the chamber, one can see memorabilia related to the figure and life of the "father of Polish beekeeping". Next to the manor house, there is a beekeeping open-air museum with beehives. A unique attraction of the outdoor exhibition are carved figural beehives. There is also an apiary operating next to the manor house, where Carniolan honey bees are bred and honey, pollen, wax, and propolis, as well as beekeeping articles and equipment, are sold. During the honey harvest season, you can taste honey straight from the hive. Practical information: The facility is generally accessible. Parking spaces on Michalika Street.
