The Silesian Regional Chamber in Daniec was founded in the 1970s by Konrad Mientus, an enthusiast of local history. It houses over half a thousand memorabilia presenting daily customs and local traditions through everyday objects. Among the exhibits are, among others, agricultural tools and household equipment. Hanging on the walls are cow and horse collars, historical firefighting equipment, helmets and fire uniforms, and folk costumes. There are also musical instruments of the Fila band, old porcelain, clocks, and sacred exhibits. A unique attraction of the place is a book collection on Silesian topics, the chronicle of Daniec, a monograph of the Volunteer Fire Department in Daniec, and the written history of the Fila band. A separate part of the chamber is an exhibition of foundry art: grave fences and epitaphs of Ozimek metallurgists from the 19th century.
