The Memorial Chamber of the Airmen of the 15th USAAF Air Force and Forced Laborers and Prisoners of War in Kędzierzyn-Koźle is a place where one can see a historical exhibition commemorating the period of World War II in the history of the city of Kędzierzyn-Koźle and its surroundings. It concerns in particular the American bombings of the synthetic fuel plants OHW Blechhammer, IG Farben Heydebreck, and GmbH - Kokerei Odertal, as well as the Nazi extermination camps for thousands of prisoners of war, forced laborers, and prisoners building the plants.
The collections include documents concerning shot-down planes and their crews, documents regarding British prisoners of war and forced laborers, photographs and documents of the KL Blechhammer camp, maps, fragments of shot-down American, German, and Soviet planes, as well as aviation equipment, artillery elements, decorations, uniforms, and materials concerning German fuel and tinsmithing plants during World War II. Some of the exhibits are located in the outdoor gallery.
