The Memorial Chamber of the Airmen of the 15th USAAF Air Force and Forced Laborers and Prisoners of War in Kędzierzyn-Koźle is a place where one can see a historical exhibition commemorating the period of World War II in the history of the city of Kędzierzyn-Koźle and its surroundings. It concerns in particular the American bombings of the synthetic fuel plants OHW Blechhammer, IG Farben Heydebreck, and GmbH - Kokerei Odertal, as well as the Nazi extermination camps for thousands of prisoners of war, forced laborers, and prisoners building the plants. The collections include documents concerning shot-down planes and their crews, documents regarding British prisoners of war and forced laborers, photographs and documents of the KL Blechhammer camp, maps, fragments of shot-down American, German, and Soviet planes, as well as aviation equipment, artillery elements, decorations, uniforms, and materials concerning German fuel and tinsmithing plants during World War II.
