The Executioner's House in Paczków is – alongside the defensive walls and the fortified church – the main symbol of the town. The building was erected using the half-timbered method in the 18th century and, according to legends, the Paczków executioner lived in it with his family. Currently, inside the historic house, there is a memorial chamber with exhibitions concerning Paczków, as well as a tourist information center.
On the first floor of the house, you can view an exhibition of historical objects, documents, old prints, vessels, photographs, and postcards from the past of Paczków. On the second floor, you can visit the "executioner's chamber", which is a reconstruction of the living room of the Paczków torturer. Cyclical painting, sculpture, and photographic exhibitions are also organized in the house.
