The Museum of Milling Technology in Namysłów is located in the building of the former municipal mill. Initially, the facility was located in front of the Bakers' Tower near the rectory of the parish church, in the suburb of medieval Namysłów, where the plant powered by the waters of the Młynówka ground grain for the needs of the town.
The mill was moved to its current location in the 14th century due to the need to protect it from destruction during the siege by the Dukes of Opole. The mill operated continuously for almost 600 years – until 1996.
Inside the building on Piastowska Street, there are restored rooms as well as historic equipment and machines from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, along with boards describing the flour production cycle. In addition, the museum organizes demonstrations and workshops on baking and cooking local cuisine dishes.
