The Regional Museum in Głogówek is located in three historic buildings: the castle, the castle gate, and the guard-and-prison tower.
In the castle, you can visit, among others, the Oppersdorff Room, where memorabilia of the former owners of the building and photographs of the castle's historical interiors are located, as well as the Beethoven Room, commemorating the composer's stay in the town in the autumn of 1806. Copies of Beethoven's portraits and publications popularizing his life and work are exhibited in this room. In one of the chambers, called the yellow parlor, you can view a collection of watercolors featuring urban landscapes painted by Alojzy Wierzgoń.
In turn, in the tower, which served as a watchtower and where the town prison was located, you can visit dungeons, including a torture chamber with an executioner's figure and iconographic information presenting methods of torturing prisoners. One of the cells, the so-called "izba u starki" (old woman's room), is arranged in the style of a former Silesian living room.
