The Weaving Traditions Center is a branch of the Museum of the Prudnik Land, where one can find out why at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries Prudnik was called the city of weavers and shoemakers. The central part of the museum is an exhibition of objects and archival materials connected with the former textile products factory in Prudnik, which was owned by the Fränkel and Pinkus families. In their prime, the factories of this influential and generous family employed several thousand workers, and the factory owners went down in history as philanthropists and patrons of culture. A unique attraction of the museum is the arranged room of Samuel Fränkel and the office of Max Pinkus. Furthermore, weaving workshops and museum lessons take place in the facility.
