The Museum of the University of Opole, which is situated in the historic Collegium Maius building, began its activity in March 2014. Its opening was connected with the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of the University of Opole. In the museum, you can see two permanent exhibitions: the "Alma Mater Opoliensis 1994–2014" exhibition, with rectoral insignia, commemorative medals, memorabilia, and archival materials from the period of activity of the Opole Higher School of Pedagogy and the University of Opole, as well as the "Paleontological Treasures of the Opole Land" exhibition with a collection of specimens from about 220 million years ago. Furthermore, meetings, lectures, and museum lessons are organized in the museum. Practical information: The facility is generally accessible. Free parking on Henryka Brodatego Street.
