The Jewish cemetery in Otmuchów is the only place connected with the modern history of the Jews of Otmuchów. The cemetery was active from the beginning of the 19th century until the third decade of the next century. In 1939, it became the property of the Association of Jews in Germany, and in 1943, it was taken over by the Gestapo. During World War II, the Jewish cemetery was destroyed, and its further devastation occurred in subsequent decades.
To this day, the bases of over a dozen graves and fragments of matzevot with inscriptions in Hebrew and German have survived in the necropolis. In front of the entrance, there are stones commemorating the renovation of the necropolis at the beginning of the 21st century by youth from the middle school in Otmuchów.
