The Jewish cemetery in Kluczbork was established in the 1920s from the foundation of the wealthy merchant Grünberger. Previously, the funerals of followers of Judaism took place in nearby Krasków. A pre-burial house with a large dome, in an oriental style, was also built within the cemetery area. In 1943, the devastated cemetery was taken over by the Gestapo, and the pre-burial house was blown up. After World War II, the authorities at the time allowed a cemetery for fallen Soviet soldiers to be arranged in its place. To this day, no tombstones have been preserved in the cemetery area. Practical information: The facility is generally accessible. Free admission. Sightseeing time: 30 minutes. Free cemetery parking on Opolska Street.
