The log-constructed Church of St. John the Baptist in Wędrynia was built at the end of the 17th century in the Baroque style. At the beginning of the next century, the church tower was added. In the central part of the nave's roof, a hexagonal ridge turret is embedded, covered with an onion dome. The interior is covered with a flat beam ceiling featuring a floral-geometric polychrome. Inside, you can see a late-Baroque main altar with a painting of St. Augustine and St. John the Baptist. The side altars are dedicated to the Mother of God and St. Joseph. The vault of the church is decorated with folk motifs. On the plot surrounded by a wooden fence, there is a cemetery and old-growth trees. Practical information: Possibility to visit before or after holy mass on Sundays (from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM). Free admission. Sightseeing time: 1 hour. Parking spaces in front of the church building.
