The Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Stare Olesno was built in the second half of the 17th century by the Augustinian order from Olesno. Its current shape is the result of the reconstruction of the building in the mid-20th century. The structure is distinguished by its log construction with a tower and a ridge turret. Inside, above the nave, there is a false barrel vault covered with a polychrome depicting the Holy Trinity. The vault over the nave is distinguished by floral and geometric decorations. Ornamental decorations are also present around the window openings and on the balustrade of the music choir. The architectural main and side altars were made in the Neo-Gothic style. The baptismal font, tabernacle, and the painting of St. Mary Magdalene in the main altar were created in the 20th century. The church's decor is complemented by 19th-century Stations of the Cross of a folk character. Practical information: Possibility to visit by telephone arrangement. Free admission.
