The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Uszyce was erected in the first half of the 16th century on the site of a 14th-century temple.
The log structure church has a four-story tower and is an example of Late Gothic wooden sacred architecture.
The main altar of the temple was made in the mid-17th century. It contains a painting of the Mother of God with Child, St. John the Evangelist, and St. Joachim painted on wood at the beginning of the 17th century. The ceiling in the church nave was created from a truss laid on ceiling boards. In the coffers, one can see alternating painted rosettes with a cross motif and angel heads. The barrel vault of the presbytery is covered with paintings with plant tendrils. In the central part, there is the inscription IHS in glory and in a wreath of flowers. The church bell was cast in 1600 in Wrocław in the workshop of Jakub Götz.
The church is surrounded by an old cemetery and old trees with lindens, oaks, and chestnut trees.
