The Church of St. Valentine was built in the first half of the 17th century
on the site of an older temple destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. During World War II, the church was mostly destroyed during the shelling of the city by Soviet troops.
The furnishings of the log structure church are mainly Baroque. The main altar with a painting depicting the patron was funded in the 17th century by Adam Wilhelm Dobrodzieński, the owner of the village.
Currently, the temple serves as a cemetery church, and masses are held there only during funerals and on February 14 - St. Valentine's Day.
