The Church of Saints Martin and Bartholomew in Borki Wielkie was built at the end of the 17th century as a parish church on the initiative of the Augustinian order, to which the village belonged. The tower with an onion helmet was created in the next century under the direction of carpenter Szymon Stadko. Currently, the temple serves as a cemetery church, and services are held here only a few times a year.
The interior is characterized by simplicity: the modest main altar dates from the 18th century and was made in the Baroque style. At its crowning, there is a sculpture of God the Father and figures of two angels. The side altar is dedicated to St. Francis. Among other historic furnishings are Baroque sculptures of the Mother of God and St. John of Nepomuk, a painting of St. Nicholas, a pulpit, a stoup, and organs. The Stations of the Cross from the mid-19th century were painted by Kazimierz Piechowski and funded by Tomasz and Małgorzata Paweletz – residents of Borki. The object is located on the Trail of Wooden Sacred Architecture of the Opole Voivodeship.
