The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and St. Hedwig of Silesia in Komorzno was erected in the mid-18th century by carpenter Christian Kihl from Namysłów, as evidenced by the inscription on the beam supporting the musical choir. In the past, a 12th-century temple being part of the monastery of St. Vincent stood in its place.
The tower probably comes from an earlier church from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries.
The log structure church is one of the few single-space temples in the region, being a realization of the Protestant concept of a house of prayer.
The furnishings are mostly from the older church. Noteworthy is, among others, the Baroque main altar from the mid-17th century with a bas-relief of the Last Supper with columns with rich woodcarving decoration adorned with grapevines, as well as a pulpit from the same period with architectural divisions and painted biblical scenes, Regency organs, and a baptismal font.
In the vicinity of the church, there is a palace with grange buildings and a park.
The church is located on the Trail of Wooden Sacred Architecture of the Opole Voivodeship.
