The Church of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr in Ligota Bialska was built at the beginning of the 20th century on the initiative of priest Aleksander Skowroński, an active pro-Polish activist. The temple stood on the site of an older church mentioned in 17th-century sources. Right next to the building is a small cemetery. The church was built in the Neo-Gothic style, according to the design of architect Ludwik Schneider from Wrocław. The main altar was carved in Nysa, and the paintings were made by Ryszard Richter from Kłodzko. Three stained glass windows in the main nave were made in Düsseldorf according to the design of Włodzimierz Tetmajer – the half-brother of Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer. The middle one depicts St. Stanislaus resurrecting Piotrowin, and the side ones – Saints Cyril and Methodius against the background of a linden tree and a wooden church, and the biblical discussion of Saints Peter and Paul regarding forcing into Judaism. Before the entrance to the church, there is a plaque commemorating priest Aleksander Skowroński. Practical information: The facility is made available to visitors on Sundays, after the masses at 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM. Free admission. Sightseeing time: 1 hour. Free parking spaces below the church.
