The Church of St. Bartholomew the Apostle in Jarnołtówek is located in the Złoty Potok valley, at the foot of Biskupia Kopa – the highest peak of the Opole Voivodeship.
The Neo-Gothic brick temple made of red brick was built at the beginning of the 20th century. It stands near the place where an 18th-century Baroque church was previously located, destroyed during the flood in 1903.
Part of the furnishings of the over hundred-year-old church consists of elements of the decor of the former church. The main altar with the painting "Christ on the Sea" – a gift from Empress Augusta Victoria, and a marble baptismal font with a coat of arms cartouche deserve special attention in the interior.
