The Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Grodków was built within the old town, right next to the Ziębice Gate erected in the 14th century in the early Gothic style. The temple was created in stages: the presbytery and nave corps were created in the 13th century, and the tower and chapels in the 14th century. At the end of the 19th century, the painting decoration of the interiors was created and external portals were built.
Inside, one can see the main altar in the late Baroque style, by the sculptor Michael Kossler from Niemodlin and the painter Melchior Franz Ansi. In the church, there are also Baroque bas-reliefs, a marble baptismal font, an organ prospect, and a bell, recast and placed over the presbytery in the first half of the 19th century. A set of tomb and epitaph plaques has also been preserved in the church, the oldest of which, Late Gothic, dates from the beginning of the 16th century.
