The Palace in Jarnołtówek on the Złoty Potok river was built in the mid-19th century using the walls of a knightly defensive manor, which was created at least two hundred years earlier. The building is located at the foot of Bukowa Mountain, in the vicinity of the Opawskie Mountains Landscape Park, popular among tourists.
After World War I, the palace became state property. A children's preventorium was created in it, which was first cared for by the Borromeo Sisters, and in the 1930s by the National Socialist German Workers' Party. After the end of the German occupation, a sanatorium for children and youth operated in the building. Currently, it is private property.
Around the palace, one can see traces of a moat and a stone bridge, where a terracotta sculpture of St. John of Nepomuk stands in a small chapel. The whole is surrounded by a park with lindens, sycamores, ashes, and a tulip tree.
