The Palace in Starościn was created in the second half of the 15th century on the site of an older hunting manor, on the order of the estate owner Henryk Jankewitz.
The greatest changes in the architecture of the building occurred with the takeover of the estate by Conrad von Saurma at the beginning of the 17th century, as well as during World War I, when the Baroque-Classicist body was unified.
After 1945, the palace complex was nationalized and housed, among others: a school, a boarding house, an orphanage, and a cultural center.
From the palace buildings, part of the landscape park with the ruined burial chapel of former owners and a classicist outbuilding from the beginning of the 19th century have also been preserved to this day. Currently, the object is private property.
