The Palace in Bąków is a neoclassical building erected in the mid-19th century inspired by the architecture of Italian villas and designs of Karl F. Schinkel, one of the most outstanding creators of classicism in the Kingdom of Prussia. The building gained its current shape at the beginning of the 20th century. After World War II, the estate in Bąków was nationalized, and the palace was converted into a multi-family residential building. Currently, the object is unused.
The front facade of the palace is decorated with the coat of arms cartouche of the building owners, Counts von Bethusy-Huc. A representative of the family, Eduard von Bethusy-Huc, was the builder of the Kluczbork – Olesno railway line. He married his son Eugen to Countess Valeska von Reiswitz, heiress of the palace in neighboring Wędrynia and a Silesian writer. The area around the building is occupied by a historic landscape park.
