The Triton Fountain, located at the junction of the market square and Bracka and Celna streets in Nysa, was created at the beginning of the 18th century. The Roman Triton Fountain, chiseled by Bernini, served as its model. The structure was carved by an unknown author in Sławniowice marble and is considered one of the most valuable Baroque architectural monuments of the city. The fountain consists of two pools, and its main part is the sculpture of a kneeling Triton, with raised hands. The mythological figure is located in a shell supported by four dolphins with open mouths facing the four cardinal directions. In the upper part of the fountain, the coat of arms of Nysa appears with the date of the object's creation (1701) and the inscription S.P.Q.N. – Senatus Populusque Nissiensis, meaning "the senate and people of Nysa." Practical information: Free admission. Parking at 10 Szkolna Street in Góra Świętej Anny.
