Artists' Square, located in the vicinity of Collegium Maius and Collegium Minus on the Opole University Hill, is an outdoor art gallery with bronze portrait monuments depicting outstanding Polish artists – poets, musicians, composers, and theater people who were associated with Opole and the annual National Festival of Polish Song taking place in the city.
Besides Agnieszka Osiecka, Czesław Niemen, or Marek Grechuta, there are also monuments of Jerzy Wasowski and Jeremi Przybora – creators of the "Kabaret Starszych Panów" (Elderly Gentlemen's Cabaret), poet Jonasz Kofta, innovative theater director Jerzy Grotowski, or publicist, political scientist, MP, and senator of the Opole Land Edmund Osmańczyk. The monuments, next to which there are benches for visitors, are mainly the work of two sculptors – Marian Molenda and Wit Pichurski.
