The Penny Bridge in Opole is a two-span, Art Nouveau crossing over the Młynówka canal intended for pedestrians and cyclists. This place took its name from the fee of 1 grosz which was collected for crossing the bridge.
The currently existing bridge was built in 1903, on the site of an earlier, wooden structure. At its eastern end, there is a wooden house in the Swiss style, the so-called Grabówka. It was there that fees for crossing the bridge were collected.
Opole residents also call the crossing the "Lovers' Bridge" due to padlocks with engraved names and initials hung on it by couples symbolizing eternal love.
Due to illuminations, the bridge presents itself exceptionally picturesquely in the evening hours. The Młynówka walking boulevard stretches along the canal.
