The Polish-Czech Knight Training Center is located in the knight's stronghold in Biskupice near Byczyna – a wooden fortress surrounded by a 6-meter palisade, the seat of knightly brotherhoods from Poland and the Czech Republic. In the space of the stronghold, there is also an inn, a stable, and craft workshops. Visitors to the stronghold can spend time learning to throw an axe, spear, and knife and shoot a historical bow, as well as use steam baths in a tub or view an exhibition of torture instruments.
The annual Medieval Fair takes place in the stronghold with illusionist, artillery, and stunt shows and performances by bagpipers. Combat tournaments of early medieval warriors as well as archery tournaments, Old Polish feasts, and plebeian games enjoy popularity. Visitors to the center can take part in demonstrations of writing with a quill pen, weaving, blacksmithing, armor making, minting, engraving, leatherworking, and jewelry making.
