The Museum of Uprising Deed on St. Anne's Mountain is a place where one can see exhibits related predominantly to the Silesian Uprisings. The location of the museum is not accidental, as the vicinity of St. Anne's Mountain is the region of the bloodiest armed struggles of the 3rd Silesian Uprising in 1921, which became a symbol of the struggle of the Silesian people for the return of Silesia to the borders of Poland.
The museum was originally located in a 19th-century school building in Leśnica, which during the 3rd Silesian Uprising was the headquarters of the staff of the 3rd Jan Henryk Dąbrowski Katowice Insurgent Regiment. The current seat is the "Polish House" (also called "House Under Chełm Hill") located in the forest on the slope between Leśnica and St. Anne's Mountain.
The museum's collections number almost 2.5 thousand souvenirs of uprising participants, including battle and combatant banners and written orders issued during the 3rd Silesian Uprising.
Part of the exhibition focuses on the history of the Polish national movement in Silesia in the years 1848-1918, as well as the activities of the "Sokół" Gymnastic Society in Silesia and the activities of the Union of Poles in Germany and the Polish Scouting Association in Germany. In the museum, one can also learn about the history of the monastery and Calvary on St. Anne's Mountain.
A unique attraction of the museum is the 15-minute "light and sound" spectacle "Panorama of Silesian Uprisings." An educational path arranged in the form of a diorama leads to the rotunda where the panorama is located, presenting the most valuable architectural monuments and the richness of nature in the vicinity of St. Anne's Mountain.
