The Castle in Otmuchówis a structure standing on a hill 225 m above sea level, on the left bank of the Nysa Kłodzkariver. It was erected in the 13th century on the site of a wooden stronghold. Until 1810, the castle was the residence of the bishops of Wrocław. In the years 1585–1596, it acquired the character of a Renaissance building. The crowning of the castle tower and the sgraffito window framing date from this exact period. In the courtyard stands a well enclosed by a gazebo and a small entrance pavilion with wide stairs (called horse stairs) created in the 18th century at the behest of Bishop Ludwig Philipp von Sinzendorf, which lead to the castle interior.
From the castle tower, one can view the panorama of Otmuchówwith the town hall building and basilica, as well as the nearby Lake Otmuchów. Other attractions of the castle include a medieval trapdoor, a hunger cell, a walk-through chimney, and hidden rooms. An inn and restaurant operate within the castle space.

Every year at the beginning of July, the Summer of Flowers is organized at the castle – an event for floristry enthusiasts.
