Officially, the mast started operating on January 11, 1979. Both programs of Polish Television and three programs of Polish Radio were broadcast from the new broadcasting center. Earlier – from 1975 – TV Program 1 was broadcast from a building in the Opole district of Chabry and the broadcasting center in Winów. In the second half of the 1990s, VHF CCIR antennas were installed on the mast. On April 22, 2013, the analog television broadcast from the facility ended. Additional information: Generally accessible from the outside. Difficult access. Free parking spaces along the road.
