Bishop Jerin's Boundary Stone in Podlesie is a quartzite boulder with the boundary marks of the Nysa bishopric duchy. In the upper part, one can see the carved date – 1586, and lower – a 26-centimeter Greek cross and the initials of Andreas Episcopus, i.e. Andrzej Jerin – Bishop of Wrocław in the second half of the 16th century, administrator and patron of the arts, known, among others, for the expansion of the castle in Otmuchów.
The boundary mark from Podlesie is one of the oldest in this part of Europe.
According to local legends and stories, this boulder was also sometimes referred to as the "murder stone", from the nearby burial place of criminals.
