Borki Wielkie is a village in Poland located in the Olesno district, in the Olesno municipality. In the alphabetical list of towns in Silesia published in 1830 in Wrocław by Johann Knie, the town appears under the Polish name Wielkie Borki and the Germanized name Borek Gross. In the village, there is a wooden cemetery church of St. Martin and St. Bartholomew, which was built at the end of the 17th century. The log structure temple serves as a cemetery church.
Furthermore, there is a Franciscan monastery complex in the village with the church of St. Francis, around which the Stations of the Cross are set up. In turn, the Silesian Tradition Chamber is a place with traditional everyday objects: toys, costumes, furniture, paintings, and a collection of Silesian Christmas cribs. It also features arranged rooms of a laundry, kitchen, parlor, and bedroom.
During the autumn-winter period, the annual Gingerbread Festival is organized in Borki Wielkie.
