Biestrzykowice is a village located in the Namysłów district, in the Świerczów municipality.
In the alphabetical list of towns in Silesia published in 1830 in Wrocław, the town appears under two Polish names – Biestrzykowic and Bierstrzkowice. They derive from an old Germanic name. Among the monuments of the village is an 18th-century palace built by the married couple Johanna Christiana née von Gebhard and Franz Weigart von Frankenberg-Proschlitz. Its reconstruction in the neoclassical style took place thanks to Hugo von Garnier aus dem Hause Turawa, owner of the brewery and castle in Namysłów. Originally, the manor was surrounded by a park complex, which contained 16 Baroque sculptures carved by, among others, Henryk Hartmann. The most magnificent of them is the group of the so-called "Four Seasons", which is currently located on the University Hill in Opole.
In Biestrzykowice, there is also a wooden parish church dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary from the 1990s, which is a reconstruction of the temple from 1639. Next to the church stands a brick tower from the first half of the 19th century.
