Krzyżowice is a village in the Brzeg district, in the Olszanka municipality. The first mention of the town comes from 1273. In the Middle Ages, Krzyżowice belonged to the Pogorzela family, who owned significant estates in the vicinity of Niemodlin and Grodków. Until the end of World War II, the estate was in the hands of private owners, and after 1945 it was nationalized. In the 19th century, a neoclassical palace was built in the village, consisting of a main body and an additional wing and an annex connected to one of its side elevations. To modern times, from the architectural details, the crowning dentil cornice and traces of framed divisions in the pseudo-avant-corps of the main body have been fragmentarily preserved. The building, which is surrounded by a landscape park, currently serves a residential function.
The monuments of Krzyżowice include the Gothic branch church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the fence surrounding it, as well as a former inn. In Krzyżowice there is also the Ekokultura center and the Jania Vineyard.
