Trzebina is a village located in the Prudnik district, in the Lubrza municipality. It lies at the foot of the Opawskie Mountains, in the buffer zone of the South-Eastern Sudetes Landscape Park. A small river flows through the village, which is the confluence of several streams flowing down from the nearby mountains: Długota and Lipowiec.
The village was first mentioned in the mid-14th century. In the following century, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built there, followed by a palace.
At the beginning of the 19th century, healing mineral water springs were discovered in the palace and park complex, which led to the creation of a small health resort where rheumatic diseases were treated.
The termination of the health resort's activity occurred with the burning of the palace during hostilities in 1945.
After World War II, the village found itself in the territory of the Polish state. At that time, some of the Polish repatriates from the Eastern Borderlands were settled there.
The tourist attractions of the village include a manor house, the ruins of a castle from the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries, and 18th-century chapels.
