The group of trees, which consists of 2 London planes and a small-leaved linden in Komorno, is located in the park in Reńska Wieś, which surrounds the neoclassical manor house erected around 1760. In the early 19th century, the facility housed the Austrian and Prussian troops besieging Koźle.
The London planes from Komorno are 160 years old, nearly 25 m high, and 494 and 412 cm in circumference. Since 2005, both specimens, which were named Anna Maria and Witold, have been natural monuments. London planes have been growing in Europe since around 1700. Thanks to their many advantages, they gained huge popularity in many countries of Western and Central Europe – mainly as park and avenue trees.
