The sessile oaks on the route connecting Biała Nyska with Siestrzechowice are a pair of historic species specimens. One of them can be seen 40 m from the bank of the Biała Głuchołaska river, on a plot by the bridge. The specimen is 200 years old, its circumference exceeds 400 cm, and its height is 27 meters. The second tree is 210 years old, has a circumference of 454 cm, and its height exceeds 31 meters. The pedunculate oak – alongside the sessile and pubescent oak – is one of the three native oak species occurring in Poland. As a long-lived species that can survive up to a thousand years, pedunculate oaks are valued in the timber industry and forestry.
