The pedunculate oak in Gorzów Śląski is a single historic species specimen located in the road lane next to the cross on Golska Street. The pedunculate oak – alongside the sessile and pubescent oak – is one of the three native oak species occurring in Poland. As a long-lived species that can survive up to a thousand years, pedunculate oaks are valued in the timber industry and forestry.
