The erratic boulder named "Devil's Stone" ("Diabelski Kamień") in Łomnica is a monument of inanimate nature. It is a single granite stone with which many legends are associated. One of them says that the stone was thrown down to earth from Mount St. Anne by Beelzebub, who did it in anger upon hearing the news about the newly built church of St. Peter and Paul. However, the devil had too little strength and the stone fell into the forest, a few kilometers from the church. All folk tales concerning the boulder were written down and published by the local writer Regina Wieczorek. Practical information: The facility is generally accessible. Free parking spaces on Olecka Street.
