Thirty trees are classified as natural monuments of animate nature in Opole. The vast majority of them are London planes. The largest specimen is a tree measuring 758 cm in circumference, growing on Wolności Square. Slightly smaller is the plane tree with a circumference of nearly 595 cm at 6 Niedziałkowskiego Street, and a specimen boasting over 520 cm in circumference next to the seat of the RZGW (Regional Water Management Board), at 2 Odrowążów Street in Opole. Attention is also drawn to a small-leaved linden with a circumference of nearly 7 meters growing at 136 Oświęcimska Street. Practical information: Facilities are generally accessible.
