A group of trees of the pedunculate oak species in the palace and park complex in Moszna are historic specimens distributed in several different locations. They can be found by the access road to the palace and at its back, as well as along the road in the park, near the park pond with a small island. One of the monumental oaks in the avenue grows behind the fence of the stud farm. The thickest specimens with circumferences reaching up to 550 cm grow in the avenue between the eastern wing of the palace and the pond. As a long-lived species that can survive a thousand years, pedunculate oaks are valued in the timber industry and forestry and are the most typical element of the European landscape.
