The avenue of Pedunculate Oaks in Gierałcice is a mid-field tree stand consisting of 47 species specimens. The trees grow in the vicinity of the remains of the von Studnitz family's palace complex from the early 19th century. They are between 130 and 150 years old, their circumference ranges from 80 to 315 cm, and their height varies from 8 to 25 meters. As a long-lived species that can survive a thousand years, pedunculate oaks are valued in the timber industry and forestry and are the most typical element of the European landscape.
