The tree group in Freedom Park (Park Wolności) in Brzeg consists of six specimens covered by monumental protection. They include three pedunculate oaks, a red oak, a Turkey oak, and a silver linden. All specimens are located in the walking and recreation area. By one of the dried-up canals grows a 38-meter specimen of a pedunculate oak with a circumference of 300 cm. Another representative of the species is located near the playground. The specimen, overgrown with ivy, has a circumference of 367 cm. The third of the pedunculate oaks has a circumference of 310 cm and grows near the western bank of the pond. In turn, a red oak with a circumference approaching 310 cm grows near the tunnel under the tracks. Next to the alley leading along the tracks towards Kilińskiego Street, one can see a monumental specimen of a Turkey oak – its circumference slightly exceeds 300 cm. Finally, in a clearing near the playground, grows a magnificent silver linden – its diameter at breast height is 565 cm. Practical information: The facility is generally accessible. Admission to the park is free. Free parking spaces on Sportowa Street.
