The single specimen of the eastern white pine species in the Pokój municipality is a natural monument located in the park on Winna Góra Street. The tree is two hundred years old, 20 meters high, and its circumference exceeds 500 cm. This specimen is considered the thickest eastern white pine specimen in Poland. The eastern white pine was brought to Europe from North America. Today, it is mainly cultivated for ornamental purposes, and in the past – also for the production of packaging and paper. In total, 1 tree group and 2 individual monumental trees are covered by legal protection in Pokój. Practical information: Natural monuments are generally accessible. Free parking spaces at the entrance to the park.
