The "Prądy" nature reserve, located near the village of the same name, was created to protect a peatland partially overgrown with an anthropogenic bog woodland. Its ecosystem deserves protection due to the retention functions it performs and the interesting flora, which is rare for the Niemodlin Forests (Bory Niemodlińskie) complex.
The reserve is one of the more important refuges for mosses in the Opole Voivodeship; species of vascular plants also grow here, including protected species – the round-leaved sundew and marsh Labrador tea. Among the more interesting animal species inhabiting the reserve area is the European tree frog – the only arboreal amphibian in Poland. The reserve area is subject to active protection.
