The Blok Reserve is located within the "Bory Niemodlińskie" Protected Landscape Area, about 3.5 km east of the village of Przechód. It was created in order to protect a fragment of a fresh coniferous forest of natural origin, constituting a remnant of the former Niemodlin Primeval Forest. Among the trees, 200-year-old pines dominate, and in the undergrowth – among others, hairy wood-rush, common heather, chickweed-wintergreen, common cow-wheat, sheep's fescue, and lingonberry. Large species of game mammals, such as wild boar, red deer, and roe deer, also live in the reserve.
Practical information:
The reserve area is subject to active protection. No possibility of visiting.
Access is limited. Parking by the tourist shelter in the village of Przechód.
