The Góra Gipsowa nature reserve is located near the village of Dzierżysław.
The purpose of its establishment on the south-western slope of Góra Gipsowa (285 m above sea level) was to protect a natural community of steppe vegetation, occurring in one of the few sites in this part of Poland. Among them are the rough elecampane, sickle spurge, common bastard toadflax, Pannonian thistle, stemless carline thistle, large-flowered selfheal, honeywort, corymbose tansy, narrow-leaved star of Bethlehem, and the common and greater broomrape.
In the vicinity of the reserve, there is a rest stop with an educational board – it is part of the route "By Bike to the Attractions of the Region" connecting Kietrz and the Czech Association of Municipalities of the Hlučínsko Region.
