The Park and Palace Complex in Szymiszów was established in the 17th century on the initiative of the Warlowski family. The complex consists of a Baroque palace, rebuilt after the destruction during the Third Silesian Uprising in 1921, as well as a historic landscape park surrounded by a wall with two gates. According to the legend, no horse could be forced to pass through the main gate from the southern side (called the "black gate" by the residents), which is why the guests of the palace owners were supposed to enter the palace through the northern gate. Currently, a Social Care Home is located in the palace. Practical information: The facility is not open to visitors. Free parking spaces on Strzelecka Street.
